Personal Statement:

I'm a Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS).  My graduate training was completed at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. During the past 10 years I have been an adjunct faculty member at Cape Fear Community College, North Carolina Wesleyan College and UNCW, teaching a variety of undergraduate psychology courses.  From 2003-2011 I served our community's youth and families as the Director of Behavioral Health and as a staff psychologist at Wilmington Health Access for Teens.

My practice focuses on adolescents, their families, and young adults, utilizing a solution-focused, client centered approach that leans towards best practice strategies grounded in the belief that only the individual can make his or her own best choices.

Appointments are available within a short period of time. In the case of testing, there is usually a one week turn around in reports.
