Personal Statement:

I have taught Psychology at the University of North Carolina Wilmington since 1969 and been in private practice since 1981. My practice is based upon the philosophy of assisting my clients toward attainment of their goals. I endeavor to provide opportunities for them to use their capabilities to cope more effectively and produce more positive outcomes. I enjoy working directly with children and especially helping their parents obtain parenting skills they can utilize the rest of their lives.
