Personal Statement:

Dr. Gallan received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, CA. The focus of Pacifica is to offer a curriculum that focuses on Depth Psychology which draws from the work of Jung and Freud. In the Master of Science degree from California Lutheran University an emphasis was placed on Cognitive Behavioral psychology providing an alternative approach to depth work. Dr. Gallan was the first to graduate from her class and become licensed in California. After working in addictions and developmentally disabled, she relocated to North Carolina and became licensed here. In her current practice, Dr. Gallan focuses on meeting the needs of each client and will enlist whatever treatment approach best suits their individual needs. This practice is open to those with depression and mood disorders, anxiety, a history of trauma, or any myriad problems that we all deal with during our lives.
