My specialties include working with individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder, Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders and Substance use disorders. I also work with women with issues surrounding body image, self esteem and trauma.

Personal Statement:

I received both my BA in Psychology and MA in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Substance Abuse Treatment Psychology at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. While at UNCW, I worked part time at Coastal Horizons: Crisis Interventions/Open House Youth Shelter, Harvest of Wilmington and Crossroads. During that time I answered crisis line phone calls, cared for at risk youth, and taught drug and alcohol education classes. I am licensed as a Psychological Associate and a Clinical Addiction Specialist as well as certified as a Health Services Provider-PA.

As part of my requirements for my MA and license, I completed my internship here at Delta and was involved with the Partial Hospitalization and Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program. Upon graduation and licensure, I continued working for the facility programs at Delta. Soon after, I helped develop and begin the Adolescent DBT program at Delta.
